media killing

Journalists in the Davao Region converged in an indignation rally in Panabo City in Davao del Norte today, June 14, to condemn the killing of print and broadcast journalist Dennis Denora.

The rally was held right on the spot where Denora, publisher of the community weekly paper Trends and Times, was shot dead around 1PM on June 7.

Police are looking at politics, among other motives, in the murder of the journalist who also anchors a public affairs program in a local radio station in Panabo City where he is based..
