JOKE OF THE DAY: KENKOYA EDWIN AND CARABAO ENGLISH

Drumbeaters in media of Davao del Norte gubernatorial bet Kenkoya Edwin say English is not a requirement to be governor.

CARABAO ENGLISH

Kenkoya Edwin, a virtual unknown, former bus conductor, former construction worker in Japan, small-time public works contractor and alleged fixer in award of public work contracts, and his claim as an engineer dismissed as fake by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC), cannot even speak a short, clear line of understandable English.
While the Philippine Constitution does not require that a candidate for an elective post must be able to speak English, the job of governor requires familiarity with the King’s Language and ability to speak it.
Why so?
Because the English language runs the operation of government from the Office of the President down to the barangays.
If one cannot speak English, it follows that one does not understand English.

Remember, that all government documents are in English.
How will “governor” Kenkoya Edwin, a virtual unknown, former bus conductor, former construction worker in Japan, small-time public works contractor and alleged fixer in award of public work contracts and his claim as an engineer dismissed as fake by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC), who does not understand English and cannot even speak a short, clear line of understandable English, grapple with these documents?
We have been listening to interviews of Kenkoya Edwin and the few words of English that embelish his Binisaya in rare occasions, would not even qualify him as a speaker of Carabao English. And this fool wants to be governor!
