Ferry system to ease Davao transport woes

                 Davao del Norte Provincial Governor Rodolfo has proposed a ferry system between Davao City and the Island Garden City of Samal (IGaCos) to declog vehicular traffic along the route from the mainland to the island city.                 The ferry system should connect all provinces in the Davao Region, said del Rosario.                 “To ease up the traffic, we must use the sea highway, our sea is so open. Samal Island RoRo nearing completion

The P37 million Tagpopongan Roll On Roll Off (RoRo) Port in the Island Garden City of Samal is now 50 percent completed, said the Philippine Ports Authority Port District Office-Southern Mindanao (PPA PDO-SoMin) Engineering Services Division (ESD).
