Philippine rebel ‘child warriors’ return to folds of law in Surigao

 SURIGAO CITY — Two female teens who admitted joining the ranks of the New People’s Army (NPA) in North Eastern Mindanao Revolutionary Committee voluntarily surrendered to the government authorities saying they could not endure the hardship in living in the mountains.     The two, both 15 years old, narrated they joined the NPA organization on July 6, 2012 and decided to left the group last August 25.
