CA grants Davao City TRO vs. RPT ordinance ruling

            The Court of Appeals has issued a temporary restraining order against a Davao City Regional Trial Court decision stopping implementation of a city ordinance that raised market values of real property and corresponding taxes.             Associate Justice Edgardo A. Camello of the CA in Cagayan de Oro City in an Oct. 29 resolution granted the city government’s motion to issue the restraining order.
